Irish writer Alice Walsh’s short story Samhain and flash fiction piece The Mountain Had Always Been There have previously been published in the Winter ’10 and Winter ’11 issues of Wordlegs. She was recently short listed for the International Fish Publishing Short Story Contest 2011/2012, while last year she made the long-list for the Over the Edge New Writer of the Year 2011 Award.
