Alice Youell was born in 1988 and grew up near Winchester, England. She graduated in 2011 from Exeter University with a degree in English Literature. She is currently studying an MPhil in creative writing at Trinity College Dublin, and has been working on a collection of short stories, one of which The Waiting Room is featured in The Oscar Wilde Centre’s 2012 Anthology ‘A thoroughly Good Blue’
