Doreen Duffy is a writer and full-time mother of three children, the youngest of whom started school during 2008, affording her an opportunity to fulfil a life-long ambition to write creatively.     She writes short stories and poetry and has won many awards, most recently being short listed for the Fish short story contest.   Doreen has also completed the Anatomy of Writing Course at UCD and her work has been published in the Irish Times and in the Ireland’s Own Anthology.
