Eimear Ryan is a young Irish writer born in 1986 and grew up in Co Tipperary. Her stories have been published in New Irish Writing, The Stinging Fly, Horizon Review and Necessary Fiction. She was the winner of the Over the Edge Award 2011, the Sean Dunne Young Writers’ Award 2011 and the Hennessy Award for First Fiction 2008. She is currently writing a novel.
