I love the works of Padraig Daly. Most of his masterpieces are based on Irish culture and has dedications. I always remember his poem entitled “letter to God”. I enjoyed reading that one.

From first reading Padraig at the end of the 1960s, I am greatly heartened to be able to reacquaint myself, at limit moments, with his ever-fresh and expanding insight, and with his lucid and charming voice.

I just wanted to mention that the phrase ‘ a language to sell pigs in ‘is from Michael Hartnetts ‘Farewell to English’.-just in case anyone was wondering !
