We have just uploaded episode 8 of our podcasts featuring Irish books, the Arts Council of Ireland funded series ” The Writer’s Passage“.  So far we have been to counties Cork, Kerry, Down, Tipperary, Longford, KilkennyWaterford and Sligo but this week we visit Dublin.  In the first of 2 podcasts based in The Capital, Vincent Caprani revisits his book “A View From The Dart”  based on a historical and literary trail which can be followed by climbing aboard the city’s commuter rail network The Dublin Area Rapid Transport system.   Vincent’s will be reading at this years Dromahair Demons Festival which runs from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th of June in The County Leitrim Village.  An updated version of Vincents’s book “Rowdy Rhymes and Recimitations” is due for release later this year.  On the issue of book launches and we mentioned launches this month by Alan Murphy and Noel Duffy in our previous post and another of our featured poets Pauline Fayne will launch her 4th collection “Mowing In The Dark”  next Monday June 20th at 7:30 at The Irish Writers Centre in Parnell Square Dublin.
