Irish podcasting has hardly been much busier, two of our newly featured Irish writers bring out a second book each this month.  Yesterday saw the Waterford launch of Alan Murphy’s Psychosilly“, a follow up to “The Mona Lisa Lives on Our Fridge“.  The collection will also be launched in Dublin on June 24th, while Noel Duffy will launch his first collection of poetry “In The Library of Lost Objects” on 22nd June 6:30 in  The Damer Hall Saint Stephen’s in Dublin.  Both Alan and Noel will be appearing at The West Cork Literary Festival in early July.  Also in early July, the 6th to be precise, Poet Noel Monahan, will give a lunchtime reading at The National Gallery of Ireland at 1pm. you can look forward to hearing work from  “In The Library of Lost Objects” from June 23rd, though you can listen to our interview featuring Noel Duffy talking about his recently released Novellas ” The Return Journey and Our Friends Electric” here but we have uploaded readings from Alan’s ” Psychosilly“, and “The Mona Lisa Lives on Our Fridgehere.  Meanwhile there are 2 podcasts on Noel Monahan’s page, his interview ends with a reading of his poem “All Day Long” which is prescribed text for The New Leaving Certificate English Course to be examined in 2011 and 2012.
