Irish podcasts galore will be coming your way over the next while. Winner of The Rupert and Eithne Strong Best New Comer Award for 2011 Grace Wells is the latest writer to be featured here at Podcasts.ie.  Just weeks after receiving the accolade for her first collection of poetry “When God Has Been Called Away To Greater Things“.  You can hear Grace talking about her work as a children’s novelist and the transition to poet for the grown up market.  as always we begin by bringing you an exclusive interview with Grace recorded at her home in South Tipperary and in the coming days we will have a unique reading from her award winning collection.

Our trip to Wexford and Waterford was most enjoyable and we were aided by and indebted to Katherine Collins of The Waterford Library Service and our thanks also to The Brandon House Hotel in New Ross and The Lismore Heritage Company for providing us with tranquil and comfortable surroundings in which to record.

Aside from recording with no less than 6 writers for inclusion over the next couple of weeks, our trip also saw us record our final episode of The Writers Passage with Thomas Mc Carthy.  We still have some editing to do on the remaining series but we will have one uploaded by the end of this week.
