Hello Admin.

Just to let you know my location, I am in the Albany/Troy area of “Upstate” New York, USA, about 130 miles due north (up the Husdon River) from New York City. Albany is the capital of New York State and although the “Capital District” area of Albany-Troy-Schenectady has a rich Dutch heritage, Irish is foremost among those claiming immigrant ancestral roots: Irish (18.1%), Italian (12.4%), German (10.4%), English (5.2%), and Polish (4.3%).

My own family roots trace back to Wales, but I am proud to say that I am “Irish by marriage”.

I have known Jho Harris for a few years via the Internet and enjoy his music selection, stories, and interviews.

Yes the RSS Feed may be seen as another little gadget, so far it will tell you when new posts or content has been added and add into your favourites.
We are looking into a forum too but at the moment it takes a lot of time to moderate but it is certainly something we will consider in the future.
Hope you are enjoying your time at the site – there is lots more to come and we are currently organising recordings from musicians and more
authors for inclusion.

OK, Jho, I am subscribed. I don’t quite know what that means. A quick check on the web seems to indicate my Firefox browser toolbar will have a an icon indicating when new content is up on the site. Not sure if that is too much convenience (just another gaget) or if it is useful. I have no trouble bookmarking a site and going there to check on new material, but I will give the RSS feed a try.

What about a bulletin board or forum? Is this it? Or is it elsewhere?

Now I have to catch up on all the shows so I can talk about them here or on a forum.

Looking forward to a continued shared music experience with you, Jho, here on Podcasts.ie.
