Alan Bennett is from Co. Kildare. He is currently living in Dublin undertaking a Masters in creative writing in UCD. He received a BA in fine art painting from Limerick School of Art and Design. He has had work published in Wordlegs online literary magazine, Kildare arts council’s ‘Stories for the Ear’ audio compilation and on He asked the playwright Alan Bennett, writer of Talking Heads and The History Boys to change his name, but he was rejected.
