The Calendar Road ~ April 2020

Brand new for April 2020, the Calendar Road returns, for those of us who are undergoing this period of isolation Sinéad invites you to join her on one of her walks.  Have things changed? With a stroll through rough fields to navigate,  Sinéad talks about what we can expect from the month ahead, will April be true and will the expected wildlife return?

Sunflower - June 2014This months show is all about our wildflowers and plants.  It’s late June on the Calendar Road and most of these plants are coming into flower.  With bees buzzing and birds singing, Sinéad walk along by the hedgerows that border the road to pick out the most important plants, that some term ‘weeds’ but others lament for their medicinal properties.
