Happy new year to you.  We are delighted to be getting our 3rd year of great Irish podcasting underway with another showcase.  On this edition we celebrate the unique Irish tradition of Nollag na bMan (Women’s Christmas).  Although known throughout the catholic world as The Epiphany or Little Christmas in Ireland this day is dedicated to celebrating the fairer sex.  The tradition is for the menfolk to take over the housework and cooking for the day and for the ladies to head offf for a night on the town.  In modern times “the new man” has begun to more of the domestic chores but Nollag na bMan is beginning to make a comeback.  we celebrate by bringing you podcasts by Ann Chambers, Kate Kerrigan, Michele Ann Kelly and Ursula Connolly.  Enjoy !
