Hello again, it has been a busy week of recording, editing and uploading – with more to come as we travel to County Cork next week to record for the site – but for this week we are delighted to feature readings both in English and Irish from the poet Celia De Fréine from her collection Imran – Odyssey – This is quite apt as we are in the middle of Seachtain Na Gaelige – So even if you have only a little grasp of the Irish, take a listen to Celia’s work because it is really interesting to hear the translations.  Also added this week we feature some new readings from the Poet Terry McDonagh from his book Cill Aodan and Nowhere Else and from the Author Jack Harte we have an excerpt from his most recent novel ‘Reflections in a Tar Barrel’.

Seactain Na Gaelige runs until Saint Patrick’s Day, the 17th of March, you can find out about all the events by clicking here.  Slán agus feicfidh mé go luath thú/Bye and see you soon!
